September 1st and 3rd we are offering players their first week free for the Kendama Dojo with world renowned Kendama professional Joshua Grove of Sweets Kendamas.
SESSION ONE: The official Dojo programs begin on September 9th at the Hale Pono Ewa Beach Boys and Girls Club and meet every Tuesday and Thursday Through December.

JOIN THE TEAM:
The Kendama Dojo team is your kids place to play, progress, and level up their life skills in a fun and structured environment. This class meets twice a week and teaches our core values and the fundamental techniques of kendama in a fun supportive team environment. If you like this first week sign up for the full program! Program starts September 9th at Hale Pono Boys and Girls club.
Students will develop life skills and personalized goal setting while still holding a focus on fun games, competition and progression. The Dojo team is the perfect place for you if you are looking for an environment to level up your kendama skills between the ages of 9-17 years old through professional instruction.
PLEASE NOTE: All youth participating in the official program start on September 9th must become active Boys & Girls Club of Hawaiʻi members. $25 for a full year membership, families can register at bgch.com.

The Ewa Beach Elementary kendama team is the place to play, progress, and level up your kendama skills in a fun and structured environment. This class meets twice a week for four weeks and teaches the core techniques of kendama in a fun supportive group environment.
Students will experience skill development and personalized goal setting while still holding a focus on games. This team is the perfect place for you kid if you they are looking for an environment to build life skills in a fun and supportive environment. come level up your kendama skills with professional instruction.
PLEASE NOTE: All youth participating in the program must become active Boys & Girls Club of Hawaiʻi members. Families can register at bgch.com. This is a separate fee from the cost of registration.
ELEMENTARY Kendama Team
Ages 7 - 11 years old (limited to 25 spots)

The Elementary team is the perfect place for you if you are looking for an environment to level up your kendama skills between the ages of 7-11 years old through professional instruction.

The competition team is your dedicated time to lock in and level up. This class environment utilizes a structured progression system to maximize quality repetitions helping you progress fast. We work with you to build a custom training regiment catered to your goals.
Whether you are just entering the competition circuit and wanting to get your first win or are trying to become the next kendama world champion, we are here to help you dial in, stay accountable and grow.
All Competitive team members will be invited to compete at the 2026 Kendama World Cup on November 21st and 22nd in Hatsuchachi Japan. Each player will be responsible for their travel expenses and accommodations .
